Sprout Edge for Mac

Sprout Edge is Sprout's own app for a Mac. It works for your family from that Mac, using what you are signed in to there, starting with school portals. Your sign-ins stay on the Mac. It is in early testing.

Download for Mac

For macOS 13 or later.

Install

1. Download Sprout Edge, open the disk image and move Sprout Edge to Applications.
2. Open it. The first window says what it will do. Nothing runs until you continue.
3. Choose Sign in with Sprout. Your browser opens, you log in to Sprout and allow the app.
4. Tick what Sprout may use on this Mac. A tick in the setup window is your okay, so Sprout does not ask again in chat.

Good to know

• It is for Mac only, and it only works while the Mac is on and awake.
• It keeps itself up to date.
• You do not need an AI agent of your own to use it. It is the only thing from Sprout you ever install on a computer.
• You can remove this Mac from Sprout at any time.
