About

A parent-facing analyzer for completed Sprout journal conversations. It reads the transcript, names the themes the child kept returning to, catches vocabulary or concepts that were hard to articulate, and suggests one next topic. The output is a short card a parent can read in about 30 seconds. It is meant to run after a journal task, or on a heartbeat that reviews yesterday's conversations.

Outcomes

  • Parents see the main themes from a child's journal conversation
  • Vocabulary gaps and fuzzy concepts are easier to spot
  • The next topic is specific enough to turn into tomorrow's prompt

  2. 2Pull themes and gapsThe analyzer extracts recurring ideas, vocabulary gaps, and concepts the child struggled to explain.
